Technopile has a cross-section of approx. 2 mm. It is more elastic and has a shorter pile than Polartec Thermal Pro, yet it has very similar properties. This is mainly due to the high density of the woven fabric and the Teflon coating (DWR) on its top layer. Clothes from Technopil will be more suitable for dogs with longer or finer fur, especially as protection against snow and moisture. The richer coat of such breeds in itself forms insulation against the cold, therefore such individuals will feel much more comfortable in the thinner Technopil. They will also be appreciated by owners who trim their dogs' fur even in the winter and need to protect their dog's body from the cold or snow. It will also suit dogs with more sensitive skin, who usually do not tolerate harder or rougher materials well.
