The beginning of the tradition from
The KWAK brand has an interesting history behind it, which began with the meeting and cooperation of the current owners, David Pařízek and Eva Hrstková. The uniqueness of the KWAK brand lies in the fact that we do not want to stagnate, but to constantly develop. We follow trends and use the latest textile technologies in the development of our products. We also cooperate with the Technical University of Liberec, which provides us with support and the possibility of applied research. This partnership is very important to us and creates a beautiful example of synergy between industry and academia. KWAK is also connected with the history of sewing sleeping bags in Liberec, which goes back almost 50 years. The beginnings of sewing sleeping bags to order were founded in Liberec by Mrs. Jana Červenková in the 1970s. Alka was founded in 1990, specializing in high quality sewn products and an individual approach to customers. When Mrs. Červenková ended her activity in 2016, Eva Hrstková bought the know-how from Alka. This is how the KWAK brand was born, which continues the tradition of sewing sleeping bags in Liberec and at the same time brings innovations and new products.

Each product is carefully designed and manufactured with high quality, comfort and functionality in mind. Our sleeping bags are filled with goose down, which is a high-quality and natural material that offers excellent thermal insulation and lightness. Our small workshop is located in Vratislavice nad Nisou, where we all know each other well. KWAK brand products are sewn by skilled local seamstresses from the surrounding area. It is important to us to create a distinctiveness for our products and create a connection with customers. The seamstresses are always in charge of the chosen product from start to finish, therefore the final product is marked with the name of the seamstress who sewed it, her signature and a QR code that allows customers to get more information about the product and our brand. In the workshop, it is sewn according to our standards, but also to order according to individual wishes. We can make tailor-made products exactly according to your ideas and requirements. We always try to accommodate you and come up with solutions even for the most demanding customers.
In our workshop, we try to create a pleasant atmosphere, we play the radio to promote a good mood and inspiration during production. The workshop is one connected two-room apartment, so we are all together. In the adjacent room there is a special area for filling products with feathers, which is separated by a net to prevent the fine down from escaping and to ensure the cleanliness of the feathers and the overall area. So we have everything we need in one place, including the owners' office, which is right next to the workshop, which allows us to always be connected.
