Rock DFS is produced in several variants - low and ankle versions, with and without the use of a Gore-Tex membrane. However, each of these models was devised with a clear goal in mind. To create the best fitting boot that you can spend all day on the via ferrata with and offer you perfect comfort. Rock DFS is the first ever model that has the so-called Dual Fit System - double tying of the laces. While walking, you have the option of wearing only the classic laces, which do not tighten the foot so much and give you more space for the foot. Whereas when you get to the more technical passages, you can tighten the shoe once more to get the best possible fit. You will especially appreciate this on via ferrata routes or anywhere else when you need to keep your feet as tight as possible.
For maximum durability, all Rock DFS models are equipped with a massive trench around the entire perimeter of the shoe. The upper is made of 1.6 mm thick leather together with microfiber and AKU's own fabric - AIR 8000. It is up to 11 times more breathable than commonly used materials and thus guarantees excellent thermoregulation in the shoe. Water resistance is ensured by the Gore-Tex waterproof membrane in the Extended Comfort version. The midsole on this model is made of double-density EVA foam with the help of polyurethane and IMS3 technology, which absorbs shocks sensitively. This is complemented by Elica technology, which distributes the body weight over the entire area of the foot, thus increasing your performance and saving your energy. The VIBRAM Approcciosa Megagrip sole ensures an uncompromising grip on any terrain.
The ankle version of the AKU Rock DFS, with its weight of only 400 grams, unique double tightening, as well as the massive VIBRAM Approcciosa Megagrip sole, are exceptional entry-level shoes designed for via ferratas that will hold you even in very technical terrain.

Basic treatment:
Remove dirt from the upper material (leather, Air 8000) using a soft brush and a damp cloth.
Allow to dry slowly at room temperature, do not expose to intensive heat sources during drying.
If your shoes get wet, avoid drying them near a fire, in an oven, etc.
