AKU Shoes - Trekker Lite III GTX

The Trekker Lite model has been on the market for more than 13 years, but that does not mean that its continuous development has rested on its laurels. New design, new lining around the shoe or new print - this is just a small list of what AKU has improved on the third generation of this model.

The upper is made of brushed leather, which is 1.8 mm wide, in combination with AIR 8000 fabric (AKU's own technology guaranteeing up to 11 times better breathability than commonly used materials). Thanks to this combination, the shoe is extremely breathable and at the same time strong. The waterproof Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane ensures the lining, so you don't have to worry about walking through a stream or melting snow in this shoe. The EVA midsole with double density foam together with the IMS1 cushioning, which will give you confidence even in more demanding terrain, takes care of the comfort when stepping on it. Comfort and safety are also complemented by a new suede lining around the entire shoe. The tip is reinforced with hard rubber against stones or tree roots. A firm grip is ensured here thanks to the VIBRAM Curcuma sole, which is exclusive only to the AKU company.

With its 570 grams, the Trekker Lite III GTX is an extremely light trekking shoe that offers its owners excellent foot protection, firm and stable footing, excellent breathability for mountain hiking even in tropical temperatures, and a long service life. This is also evidenced by the traceable origin of all materials used in the production of this shoe.
