Ret - measures the resistance that is given to water vapor.
MVTR - measures water vapor permeability.
These two quantities express opposite values when measured.
The anatomical shape of this mat predestines it for action use, i.e. wherever there is a need to reduce the weight and volume of the packed mat. Its dimensions, in turn, indicate that it will be suitable for larger and shoulderier figures who cannot cope with its smaller sibling, the Peak 38 NX.
The construction with two layers of relatively large horizontal cavities saves even more the weight of the mat, while maintaining relatively high thermal comfort.
Even after being inflated, the cavities form a pleasant wavy structure of the mat.
Grinding the top layer of the material increases its friction, so your sleeping bag will not slip off the mat.
The double high flow valve provides easy inflation of the mat without air escaping when it is closed. Pressure in the mattress can be regulated by pressing the valve. After opening the second layer, the valve is fully open and the mat can be easily deflated.
